JBBakes was born out of pure love—and an incredibly sweet tooth.

I started baking for my college friends, who quickly became my first customers, and what began as late-night experiments in tiny ovens grew into something much bigger.

Over time, baking went from a side passion to a full-blown obsession, one that’s taken me from dorm kitchens to professional ones.

I’ve always admired chefs who build their own personal worlds—people like Molly Baz and Claire Saffitz—and I’m carving out my own space with the same spirit. For me, it’s about curiosity and creativity: one day it’s challah, the next it’s cakes, and tomorrow it might be something I haven’t even dreamed up yet. JBBakes is where I get to share that ongoing journey, one project (and one slice) at a time.
