Gay Shabbat was born from a desire for a space where I could show up as myself.

Unapologetically Queer and Jewish.

Co-founded with my best friends in 2023,
it’s become a grassroots, heart-led community for LGBTQIA+ Jewish New Yorkers to gather,
break bread, and build something beautiful together.

What started as a few friends sharing Shabbat dinner has grown into something much bigger than ourselves—a space that celebrates culture, queerness, spirituality, and radical joy. We host dinners, holidays, and casual hangs that feel warm, welcoming, and grounded in love.
